Jacky Cheng (born 1977, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) is a Contemporary Artist based in Broome, Western Australia. [1][2][3]

Early life and education[edit]

Jacky Cheng attained Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1995 - 1998 for Diploma in Architecture. She then got herself Advance Diploma in Architecture from Limkokwing University of Creative Technology, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 1999.

Jacky Cheng graduated as a Bachelor in Architecture (Hons. I) from the University of New South Wales, Australia in 2003 and a Bachelor in Architectural Science, Curtin University of Technology, Perth, Australia in 2001.

Achievement[edit]

Her achievements include being the repeated winner of Shinju Acquisitive Art Awards (Broome, Australia) in various categories such as winner in Works on Paper Category (2008, 2011, 2015), Highly Commended Award for Works on Paper Category (2013, 2015), Acquisitive Prize (2012), Artist's Choice Award (2015) and People's Choice Award (2018). In 2017, she won the Highly Commended Award in both Cossack Acquisitive Art Awards (Cossack, Australia) and West Kimberley Acquisitive Art Prize (West Australia). She also won the Academic Excellence in Architectural Design Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia,1999).
