Jade and Ryan (also known as Jade and Ryan TV or and abbreviated as J&R) is an Australian comedy/talk/variety series on Facebook and YouTube created by Jade Gatt, Ryan Lappin, Adrian Davis, Brendan Dando and Sams J. Bellwood. The show first aired on Tuesday 16th July 2018.[1]
Reception
The show has become popular on Facebook and YouTube, with the Jade and Ryan Facebook page having over 10,000 followers and the YouTube channel having over 5,000 subscribers.
While the fan response to the series has been mostly positive, the relaunched format starting July 16, 2018, was met with some negative reaction from fans. Several viewers criticised the new format, commenting that the show is lacking the cartoons of the television show Cheez TV that Jade Gatt and Ryan Lappin both hosted in the late 1990's. With others commenting that the new format is just the beginning of where the show can go.
