Jaden Lindo (born January 11, 1996) is a Canadian ice hockey right winger currently playing for Queen's University of U Sports' Ontario University Athletics. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the sixth round, 173rd overall, in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.[1]
Playing career[edit]
Lindo was selected second round, 26th overall, by the Owen Sound Attack in the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. He played for four seasons with the Owen Sound Attack and for one season with the Sarnia Sting in the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). He committed to Queen's University (Kingston, Ontario) for the 2017–18 season.[2]
Lindo represented Canada Ontario at the 2013 World U-17 Hockey Challenge in Victoriaville, Quebec. Lindo also represented Jamaica at the 2019 Amerigol LATAM Cup in Coral Springs, Florida.[3] He scored two goals and six points in the Men's Division 1 tournament, helping Jamaica to its first Amerigol LATAM Cup by defeating the defending champion Colombia 3–2 in a shootout in the final.[4]
