Jaime Miguel Linares (born 21 May 1982), commonly known as Jaime Linares, is an Angolan former professional footballer who played as a centre-back or defensive midfielder. Although he represented the Angola national team, he was born and raised in Vila Real, Portugal.
Club Career
Linares began his football journey in his hometown, playing for local youth clubs including S.C. Vila Real before concluding his youth career at Boavista FC. He went on to have a long professional career, playing for various clubs in Portugal and abroad. He is particularly known for his time at clubs such as Gondomar, Lusitânia, and his international experience in Algeria and Angola.
