Acting Career[edit]
Varsani's debut role as an actor came in a CBBC's Hetty Feather Season 5, he landed the role of a royal Indian prince Ashok. Jairaj appeared in every episode of Hetty Feather Season 5 (10 episodes).[1]
After securing the role of Master Ashok, Jairaj was nominated for the 'Best Young Performer 2019 BAFTA', he came 3rd place.[2]
Varsani's first appearance in a film arrived in January of 2020, where he played a young David Copperfield. The adult version of David Copperfield was played by Dev Patel. Jairaj co-starred with Hugh Laurie, Tilda Swinton and Gwendoline Christie whilst making this film.[3]
On 12 February 2020, Jairaj starred in an episode of the science-fiction comedy TV series Avenue 5. He played the character Zeke in Season 1 Episode 4.[4]
Additionally, Jairaj appeared in a short film of a TV Mini-Series called Small Axe (2020). He played a student named Sajid in Season 1 Episode 5.[5]
