Jake Ellis is a retired Battalion Chief from the Boise Fire Department and an American Democratic politician, running for Idaho State Representative District 15-B.[1]
Early life, education, and career
Jake Ellis was born in Pocatello, Idaho and graduated from Skyline High School. He initially attended Idaho State University and later received his degree in Communication from Boise State University. His career in fire fighting began with the Bureau of Land Management while attending Idaho State; he later joined the Boise Fire Department and retired after 27 years. Awards include 1992 City of Boise Fire Fighter of the Year. He is member of Boise Firefighters Local 149,[1] and previously ran for Idaho State Representative, District 15-B in 2016.[2]
