Jake Sutherland (born February 20, 1996) is an American football tight end for the St. Louis Battlehawks of the XFL. He played college football at Morehead State. Sutherland has also played for the Atlanta Legends of the AAF and the New York Guardians of the XFL.
College career[edit]
Sutherland played 4 years at Morehead State from 2014 to 2017, where he played in 43 games, catching 53 receptions for 515 yards and 5 touchdowns.[1]

Atlanta Legends[edit]
After going Undrafted in the 2018 NFL Draft, Sutherland signed with the Atlanta Legends of the AAF. Sutherland finished the 2019 season playing in 2 games and catching 1 pass for 2 yards.[2] He had his contract terminated when the league suspended operations.
New York Guardians[edit]
On October 15, 2019, the New York Guardians drafted Sutherland.[3] He had his contract terminated when the league suspended operations. He had his contract terminated when the league suspended operations in April 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
St Louis Battlehawks[edit]
On November 15, 2023, The St. Louis Battlehawks drafted Sutherland.[4] Sutherland finished the 2023 XFL season playing in all 10 games, catching 9 receptions for 82 yards and 2 touchdowns. [2]
