James T. Demetriades is an American entrepreneur. He was the founder and chief executive officer of SeeBeyond Technologies,[1] and was also involved in founding Health Level 7, a set of standards for healthcare software applications.[2]

In 1989, Demetriades founded the company Software Technologies,[3] which was later renamed to SeeBeyond Technology Corporation.[2] The company's initial public offering took place in 2000,[4] and in 2005 it was bought by Sun Microsystems.[5]

As of 2016, Demetriades was a managing partner at the venture capital company Kairos Ventures.[6]

Demetriades has also invested in real estate in California,[7][8] and he competes in yacht sailing.[1][9]
