James Foord
James Foord (died 1821) was the Registrar of Deeds in Norfolk County, Massachusetts from 1813 until his death in 1821.[1][2] He was from Milton, Massachusetts and the Milton Public Library was founded in his Brush Hill home.[3] He also served as the Milton town clerk from 1807 to 1813[4] and also as a selectman.[5]
He was the father of Enos Foord and the grandfather of James Foord, both of whom followed him as Registrar of Deeds.[1]
