James Kerez-Paravicini ( Jakob Kerez; 5 November 1820 – 1 December 1904) was a Swiss businessman and financier who played a key role and was the only Swiss citizen involved in the founding of the Anglo-Swiss Condensed Milk Company, a predecessor to Nestlé.[1]

Kerez hailed from a well-established family in the city of Zurich. His parents were Johann-Heinrich Kerez and Judith (née Bodmer). His marriage to Italian-born Katharina Paravicini (1827-1885) did not result in any children.[2][3] He is distantly related to Christian Kerez (born 1962), who is an architect.
