Jamie Bates (born January 21, 1985) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward of the American Hockey League (AHL).
After completing an collegiate career with Quinnipiac University, Bates began his professional career on March 29, 2008, when he was signed to an 'Amateur Tryout' contract by the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL.[1]
Bates played three professional seasons spanning the AHL and ECHL before ending his playing career at the conclusion of the 2010–11 season.
