Jamie Edge (born 9 September 1993) is an English footballer who plays for Gloucester City.

Career[edit]

Edge began his career with Cheltenham Town in their youth team but was signed, as a 15 year old schoolboy, for Arsenal for a reported £100,000.[1]

He left Arsenal in 2011 after making one appearance for Arsenal's reserves and was signed by West Bromwich Albion, but never made a first team appearance. [2]

After leaving WBA, he spent some time in the Nike Academy before joining Gloucester City in the National North. Edge found himself out of favour at Gloucester and then signed for Cirencester Town. Several moves then followed, with spells at Hereford, another brief spell at Cirencester, two seasons at National League South side Weston Super Mare followed before Edge eventually re-signed for Hereford, now in the Southern League.

In September 2017 Edge was released by Hereford and later re-joined his hometown club Gloucester City.[3]
