After leaving WBA, he spent some time in the Nike Academy before joining Gloucester City in the National North. Edge found himself out of favour at Gloucester and then signed for Cirencester Town. Several moves then followed, with spells at Hereford, another brief spell at Cirencester, two seasons at National League South side Weston Super Mare followed before Edge eventually re-signed for Hereford, now in the Southern League.
