Jamie Grey (born Jamie Graham; 5 June 1988) is an English singer and songwriter. Early life[edit]
Jamie was born in Middlesbrough on June 5th, 1988. He grew up in Redcar, with both parents and one sister, who is 8 years his senior.
Between 1994-2000, Jamie attended Green Gates Primary School, situated on the Lakes Estate of Redcar, followed by attending West Redcar Secondary School between the years 2000 and 2005. Jamie went on to attend Prior Pursglove College from 2005 until 2008 and further studied a Business Degree at Teesside University from 2008 to 2011.
Career[edit]
2017: The Voice UK (series 6)[edit]
In 2017, Jamie was chosen to appear on the first episode [2] of the ITV series, The Voice (UK). However, his rendition of Never Ever by All Saints failed to tempt any of the four judges to turn their chair for the Redcar singer.
2018: The Voice UK (series 7)[edit]
In 2018, Jamie returned to The Voice (UK) for a second time[3][4][5]. In his blind audition[6] Jamie sang a rendition of Andra Day’s Rise Up which grabbed the attention of judges Olly Murs and Tom Jones. Jamie chose to be a member of Team Olly. Jamie made it to the semi-finals[7] before he was eliminated.

2019-2020:[edit]
In 2019, Jamie signed a publishing deal with Downtown Music Publishing[8]. He went on to co-write James Arthur's single, "Falling Like the Stars". He also penned the track "Maybe" from James Arthur’s U.K. number two album, You. Jamie was then supported Arthur on his European tour[9]
