Jamie Leonard is a British magician and comedian known for his solo shows at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and appearances on national television. His work combines jaw dropping magic and stand-up comedy, and he has performed multiple original shows since 2022.[1]
Career
Leonard first gained wider public attention in December 2022 when he appeared on STV’s News at 6 to promote the Future Magicians show. During the broadcast he performed a live magic trick as part of the festival’s media promotion.[2]
That year, he also debuted his first solo show, Now You See Me Now You Don’t, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.[3]
In 2023, Leonard returned to the Fringe with the solo show Focus Pocus, which was reviewed by independent arts publications including World Magic Review.[4]
His 2025 show Wonder Boy was staged at the Gilded Balloon Patter Hoose and received coverage from several outlets including Everything Else and Mix Up Theatre as well as gaining a nomination of “best show of the fringe” (2025) by Mix Up Theatre.[5][6][7]
In the same year, Leonard was reported to have performed for members of the Saudi royal family, becoming the youngest professional magicians to do so.[8]
