Jamil Sakr

Jamil Sakr (Arabic: جميل صقر) (1948-) is a Syrian diplomat who was appointed Syrian Ambassador to Ottawa, Canada in 2005.
Background[edit]
Sakr studied at Damascus University. He has served as a diplomat since 1980 in many postings. He was first appointed by Hafez Assad in the early 1980s.
