Sanjay Bhattacharya (Hindi: संजय भट्टाचार्य; born 1962 in New Delhi[1]) is an Indian diplomat who was the serving ambassador of India to Turkey.[1] He was the ambassador of India to Egypt from 2015 to 2018.[2][3] He is currently serving as the Secretary of Consular, Passport, Visa and Overseas Indian Affairs

He studied economics at St. Stephen's College, Delhi and completed his Master's from the Delhi School of Economics.[1]
