Jared Becker
Jared Becker (born June 6, 1993) is an American actor. He is best known for his starring role as Aaron Wheeler in the critically acclaimed short film *Sorry For My Loss*[1][2] (2021). He also starred as Ben in the award-winning film *For Whom the Bell Tolls*[3]. In his latest role, Jared plays Sarge in the theatrical debut of *Reveille* (2023).

Early Life
Jared Lee Becker was born on June 6, 1993, in Naperville, Illinois, to horse racing jockey Ken Becker Sr. and Karen Becker. Becker was born in suburban Chicago, the youngest of four boys whose father was a jockey at Hawthorne Race Course. When their father retired, the family moved to 36 acres in rural Pinckneyville, where Ken and Karen Becker built the family home from scratch.[4] His parents divorced when he was a teenager, and he and his brother lived with his mother. He started acting when he was 14 at Du Quoin High School in the school Speech Team. Becker graduated from Du Quoin High School in 2012 and went on to join the Air Force in 2013. Jared served as an Air Force Intelligence Sergeant and was stationed at Beale Air Force Base in Sacramento, CA until 2019. In 2020, he wrote and starred in his first short film, *Shattered Pieces*. After losing the award for Best Actor to Kevin Bacon for his film *Until*[5], he used the momentum to obtain his first Los Angeles based theatrical agent.
Career
Becker received his Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Colorado State University and his Master’s Degree in Project Management from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University. Recently, he has written, produced and starred in multiple films including *Deadlines*, *Shattered Pieces*, *Reset* and *Sorry For My Loss*[6][7]. Jared is an advocate for mental health and works with organizations to spread awareness.[8] In 2022, the feature film *Reveille* where he plays Sarge,[9][1]formerly Audie Murphy, the youngest Sergeant leading a group of Americans through the winter line in Italy 1943 in the height of WWII[10]. Next, he will star alongside Rebekah Kennedy in the feature film *Never Strangers* as well as the female led comedy *Anti Bachelorette*.
