Jared Lorenzo Green (born May 2, 1987) is an American actor, screenwriter, producer, and DJ. Jared Lorenzo is known for his roles in Ein Hauch von Amerika, Blood & Gold, Life of a King, and Die Bilderkriegerin: Anja Niedringhaus.

Early life

Jared Lorenzo Green was born on May 2, 1987, in Inglewood, CA. At the age of six, the late talk show host then agent Paul Ryan (actor) recognized Jared Lorenzo's potential and offered him representation, marking the beginning of his acting career. From the age of seven until 18, Jared honed his craft under the guidance of Wendy Raquel Robinson and the late Denise Dowse at Amazing Grace Conservatory.

During his high school years, Jared moved to Mid-City and was accepted into the former diversity program at Beverly Hills High School. While there, he continued to pursue drama and earned a coveted spot on the BHHS Dance Company. Upon completion, Jared was awarded a talent scholarship for his roles in The Laramie Project, which led him to further his studies at The Theatre School at DePaul University where he graduated with honors.

Career

Just months after leaving Chicago, Jared Lorenzo landed his first role in MTV's telemovie DisCONNECTED. DisCONNECTED was produced as a component of MTV's "A Thin Line" campaign, designed to help young people recognize and combat digital abuse while promoting healthier online interactions. He initially lied about his age during the audition, as the role required someone no older than 20.

Alongside his early acting pursuits, Jared spent two years interning at Diplo's record label, Mad Decent, where he developed a passion for underground music, eventually leading him to produce and start DJing.

Following the release of DisCONNECTED, Jared secured a role in Life of a King and a recurring guest-star role in Filthy Preppy Teen$ on Fullscreen (company).

In 2014, Jared wrote and produced his first short film, Foxxx David, casting golden Hollywood legend Deanna Lund in the starring role.

By 2015, Jared moved to Berlin, Germany, splitting his time between his hometown and his new life abroad. In 2018, he launched Sooner Or Lady LLC, a multimedia production company dedicated to indie filmmaking.

While based in Berlin, Jared has appeared in several notable productions, including Deutschland 86, Funeral For A Dog, Blood & Gold, and an upcoming Egyptian-German feature titled BerleeN_.
