Jarred Cannon

Jarred Alexander Cannon (born December 23, 1997) is an American politician from Huntington, West Virginia[1] and was a Republican candidate for the West Virginia House of Delegates in District 17[2], which contains parts of Cabell and Wayne County, West Virginia[3] in 2016. He was defeated in the primary election.[4] He is a pre-candidate for the same office in the 2018 election.[5]

Education[edit]

Cannon currently attends West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. He serves as the Student Body Attorney General in the Student Government Association.[6]

Elections[edit]

  • 2016: Cannon faced three other challengers in the primary held on May 10th, 2016. He received 802 votes, receiving third place while the first and second place finishers moved through to the general election.[7]
