Jarron Tevanti Crump is an American Indonesian professional basketball player and entertainer.

Early life[edit]

Jarron Crump was born on March 5, 1992 in Dallas, Texas. His listed height is 6ft and playing weight of 165lbs.

College career[edit]

Crump attended Pacific Union College. In his NCAA Division 1 and 2 games career, he averaged 17 points and 3 assists per game on 45 percent shooting.[1] His big games were 23 points vs Weber State on December 2, 2015.[2] 15 point 6 assists outing vs Santa Clara December 13, & 17 points vs Fresno State later that week. His university career high of 13 ast in one game Pacific Union college's record came on January 24, 2016. In his senior season he led the team in scoring (18 points per game) assist (5 a game) steals with almost 2 per outing. These numbers landed him with 540 points over that season, which is the most in any Pacific Union season in school history, along with the most assist in a single game (13) adding up to (140) most assist in a single season, top 5 in steals, shot over 45% from the field and over 80% from the free throw line with a positive assist to turnover ratio. He was also selected as one of the best dunkers in the country but couldn't compete in the competition due to his schools Sabbath observance day of the event.[citation needed]

Professional career[edit]

Crump's first stop was in Brazil. He didn't play there for a long time. After a few months, he won the Elang Cup 1 & was named MVP in Medan, Indonesia. Then signed to play for the CLS Knights at the PERBASI CUP 2016.[3] He averaged 16 points per game, 8 assists and 4 rebounds at CLS and won the Perbasi Dunk Contest 2016. The next season he joined the Indonesian Basketball League 2017 Satya Wacana Salatiga.[4] He led the team in points (24 per game) and assists. He was the top import vote getter for All Star that year.[5] After IBL 2017, Jarron played in Malaysia along side 7 foot big man Chris Charles for the Brunei team and lost in the championship.[6] Jarron averaged 26 points per game and also won the dunk contest. At later joined IBL again, this time, for Tangerang Hawks.[7] He won the IBL 2022 Slam Dunk Contest (3rd professional).[8] After his Indonesian Basketball League season, he signed to the Saigon Heat 3x3 pro club in Vietnam.[9] Now he is currently with TGE Thai General Equipment professional basketball club in Thailand where he averages 23 points per game and 7 assists, Season high of 40 points came in June 2022.
