Jason “Frenchie” Gaya brings passion and technical savvy to art of telling creative stories with sound. Upon moving from Florida to Los Angeles in 2005, Gaya honed his craft in the world of independent films. He has mixed more than 100 indie features and shorts, including Hell or High Water, A Girl Walks Home Alone At Night and The Belko Experiment. Crossing over into television, he has worked on notable series such as Insecure and The Blacklist and is the recipient of Emmy and Cinema Audio Society (CAS) awards for his work on the series Barry. When not mixing with faders, he is known for whipping up delicious homemade desserts to sweeten the Sony Pictures sound department.
