Jason Hawkins (also known as Jase Hawkins) is an Australian radio broadcaster. Hawkins is currently part of Nova 100's breakfast show, Jase & Lauren with Lauren Phillips and Clint Stanaway.
Biography
Career
Hawkins began his career at Triple M Brisbane in 1999, answering the phones. He’s has previously hosted drive on Perth’s 92.9, co-hosted the night show on Sydney’s 2Day FM, followed by a stint on drive before returning back to B105’s breakfast Labby, Abby and Stav with Abby Coleman and Stav Davidson in 2007.
After 7 years, in December 2014, in a shock announcement Hawkins announced his departure from B105's breakfast show to move to New Zealand to co-host Jase & PJ with Polly Harding on ZM.
Between 2015 and 2021 Hawkins co-hosted the Jase & PJ breakfast show with Polly Harding. The show ending when Harding announced her departure to move back to New Zealand.
Between 2021 and 2023 Hawkins co-hosted the Jase & Lauren breakfast show with Lauren Phillips. In November 2023, the show was axed by KIIS 101.1 to make way for The Kyle and Jackie O Show to be networked from Sydney.
In a surprise move, Hawkins and Phillips returned to the airwaves to join Nova 100 in 2024 to host the Melbourne breakfast show.
Awards
Hawkins is an Australian Commercial Radio Award finalist. In September 2023 he was nominated for the Individual Talent of the Year Award[1].
Personal life
Hawkins is married to wife Louise 'Lou' since 2012[2], they have three children.
