Jasper Malamud (born August 17, 1997) is an American soccer player who currently plays college soccer at the University of Washington.
Malamud studied Political Economics from the Henry M. Jackson School of International Studies and has represented the University of Washington as a delegate in Dublin, Ireland with the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce.[1]
Career[edit]
Malamud was part of the Shattuck St. Mary's Men's soccer team from 2013-2016. On February 5, 2016, it was announced that Malamud signed a letter of intent to play college soccer at the University of Washington.[2] Here, Malamud would join fellow Washingtonian teammates Handwalla Bwana, John Magnus, and Kasey French.[3]
At the University of Washington, Malamud participated with teammates in building sport courts in the rural village of Matambú with the Courts for Kids organization.[4]
After his time at the University of Washington, Malamud signed for Santander Madrid FC. Here he totaled 27 goals in just 12 appearances, leading his team to a 'Santander Parque' championship. In the final, Malamud scored 4 goals and had 3 assists.
