Steven Jay Chavez (more commonly known as Jay Chavez) is a multi-instrumentalist and the founder of the Jay Chavez Band.
Early life
Chavez was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico with four siblings. Soon after, they moved to Chicago, Illinois and he began practicing a wide range of instruments, beginning with the piano.[1]
Musical career
Chavez's performance career began at age 14 with Muddy Waters in Chicago.[2]
