Early Life[edit]
Kellner was born in Wisconsin, and went to Sheboygan South High School. He then went on to Lawrence University and Northwestern University graduating in '92.
Career[edit]
Kellner told the Chicago Tribune, "We see this as an education process. We feel we are educating a child through music. After a child has spent some years in the children's choir, I like to think they've had some good life experience they wouldn't have had elsewhere."[7]
He also spoke about the alumni of the chorus saying, “When I see someone who is 30 years old come up with a huge smile on their face and talk about a tune they sang and what it meant to them, that’s a special thing. Everyone has not just memories, but are who they are because of what they experienced when they were wearing one of our uniforms.”[8]
