Jaya Menon
Jaya Menon is an Indian actress who lives in the Kingdom of Bahrain. She performed in various Malayalam films including the acclaimed Ritu in 2009, directed by veteran director Shyamaprasad. Menon is famous among expatriate Indians living in Persian Gulf countries for her drama acting career. She is also a critically acclaimed director and choreographer for hundreds of plays, and dozens of shows. She has won a top award in India in recognition of her artistic work. Jaya Menon was selected as the first winner of the "Pravasi Kalashree" Awards for nonresident artists who have excelled in various fields by the Kerala Sangeetha Nataka Akademi. She bagged the first Kalabhavan Mani award too. She is married to Prakash T, and has two sons, Arun and Rishi. Menon is also currently employed with J.P. Morgan Chase and is also a busy artist in television serials.
