Jean-Pierre Birabent

Jean-Pierre Birabent (Joan Pèr Viravent in occitan; 1 August 1949 – 4 January 2023)[1] was an engineer and pedagogue from Bigorre.
He had the agrégation of literature, was a teacher at the École nationale d'ingénieurs de Tarbes,[2] and was the first teacher of Occitan Gascon in Tarbes teacher training academy.
