Jeff Hewitt (born 1953) is an American politician from California currently serving on the Riverside County Board of Supervisors in Riverside County, California.[1] He served on the county Planning Commission. Hewitt was elected to the Board of Supervisors in 2018, running as a Libertarian.[2] Los Angeles Times describes him as "He is the most powerful Libertarian ever elected in the United States."[3] He was a swimming pool contractor by trade.[3][4] After taking his position as a board of supervisor with a salary of $171,066, he has turned over his pool business to his son. [4]
