Jeffrey Rowe is an American writer, director, and actor who worked on the Disney Channel television series Gravity Falls created by Alex Hirsch.
Life and career[edit]
Rowe moved from his hometown, Chicago, Illinois, at the age of twenty. He graduated from the California Institute of the Arts, now known as CalArts. Before working for Disney TV for Gravity Falls, he worked with Bento Box Entertainment, Film Roman, and Rubicon Group Holding. On Gravity Falls, he was the writer for season 2.
Netflix film[edit]
In 2021, Rowe, along with Mike Rianda, who also worked with Rowe on Gravity Falls, directed the Netflix film The Mitchells vs. the Machines. A film about a weird family having to survive a robot apocalypse. Rowe also voiced a man who likes fun in the film, later being taken by the robots.
Upcoming movie[edit]
Rowe is set to direct an upcoming film based on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Right now, the film is currently set for a release on August 11, 2023.[1]
