Jennifer Kahn is a journalist, writer and speaker. She has won multiple writing awards and gave a TED talk in 2016.[1]

Kahn is an alumna of the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism.[2]
Career[edit]
Kahn has been a regular feature writer for the New York Times Magazine, National Geographic, and Wired, among others.[2] In 2016, she gave a TED talk on CRISPR and gene drives that has been viewed over 1 million times.[1]
She teaches in the Magazine Program at the UC Berkeley Graduate School of Journalism, and was a visiting Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton University in 2015.[3]
Kahn is an assistant professor of teaching and learning in the School of Education and Human Development at the University of Miami. Kahn specializes in learning sciences and STEM education.[4]
Awards[edit]
Kahn's work has been selected for the Best American Science Writing series four times, and is also featured in the anthology Best American Sports Writing.[2]
