Jennifer Mendelsohn is an American writer, journalist, and genealogist.[1]

Career[edit]
Mendelsohn began her career as a journalist and ghostwriter.[3] She was a Washington, DC-based special correspondent for People magazine and Slate columnist, writing the "Keeping Tabs" column. [4] She has had numerous works in publications including The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today, The Los Angeles Times, Time, Politico, Tablet, McSweeneys, and Jezebel to name a few. [5]
She is currently a member of the Association of Professional Genealogists, serves on the board of the Jewish Genealogy Society of Maryland, the administrator of Facebook's Jewish Genetic Genealogy group, and the creator of #resistancegenealogy. Her work on #resistancegenealogy has received international attention, being spotlighted on CNN.com, The New Yorker, The Washington Post and Yahoo News.[6]
