Jennifer Reinfried is an American author. She has currently published two novels - Grim Ambition and its short story prequel Grim Inception, both released in March 2017.
Early Life[edit]
Reinfried was born and raised in the Midwest. She acquired her love of reading from her father, but both parents were encouraging with her desire to write. She never thought she could write a book, and tried her hand at a few short stories throughout high school and college, but never submitted anything until 2016. Writing those short stories triggered her love of crafting stories and creating new characters, and soon, she had a full-length novel, Grim Ambition.[1]
Career[edit]
Jennifer Reinfried is best known for her creation of A Grim Trilogy, a superhero crime thriller told from the viewpoint of the criminals. It is the first installment in a trilogy. Grim Ambition published in March of 2017[2]. In addition, she published its short story prequel that takes place two years before the events in Grim Ambition An avid reader and writer, she began her first full length novel in May of 2016 and had completed the first draft in only two months.[3] Currently, she is working through the editing process of the second book in the trilogy, titled Grim Judgment, finishing the first draft of the third book, Grim Vengeance, and writing an origin series that takes place in the same universe, following the origins of her main characters.[4] The first, titled Dawn of the Wraiths: A Grim Origin, is expected to be out late 2017 after Grim Judgment is released.[5]
Her influences include Joe Hill (writer), Dean Koontz, and Stephen King.
