Jennifer Stojkovic is an American activist known for founding the Vegan Women Summit (VWS),[1][2] credited with breaking gender bias and discrimination in business.[3] She is most well known for consolidating the leaders of the food industry to create awareness for women.[4] She is also credited with producing influential reports that address bias, discrimination and harassment of female founders during investment rounds of food tech companies.[5][6] Stojkovic is also known in the tech industry as the Executive Director of the nonprofit organization sf.citi,[7] which is credited for resurrecting the San Francisco business community after the COVID Pandemic.[8]

Career[edit]

Stojkovic, originally from Canada, began her career as a community relations leader for tech companies in San Francisco, California. During her career in tech, Stojkovic became increasingly interested in blending her passion for change in the food system with her experience and network in Silicon Valley. In early 2018, Stojkovic launched a “Future of Food” series of partnerships bringing together CEOs and founders from leading tech brands, including WeWork and Airbnb, with emerging CEOs from the burgeoning food tech industry to establish food as the “Tech 2.0”.

Stojkovic launched a conference called the Vegan Women Summit in 2020. Focused on building equitable and diverse representation of women leaders globally and partnering with major tech brands, VWS is dedicated to empowering, educating, and inspiring women to bring compassion to their careers. With a growing community of energetic female leaders around the world, VWS features programming with the world’s leading vegan CEOs, celebrities, investors, Olympians, and other notable figures.

Stojkovic currently serves as the Executive Director of sf.citi ( San Francisco Citizens Initiative for Technology and Innovation),[9] a business advocacy for the San Francisco Bay Area.[10]
