Jenny Lim (Jenny Lim Mei Ling, aka Jen Lim) (born 25 February) is a Malaysian politician. She is the Information Chief of the PKR Kota Kinabalu branch, a member of the Department of Central Election for Women's committee, and a member of the State Leaders Council in Parti Keadilan Rakyat.[1][dead link]

Education

Jenny Lim attended SKC Anglo Chinese for her primary education, and later attended Kian Kok Middle School secondary school in Sabah. In 2005, she graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics), minor in Finance, from Curtin University of Technology. In 2008, she was a shortlisted scholarship participant in the Financial Sector Talent Enrichment Programme (FSTEP), a programme initiated by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Dr. Zeti Akhtar Aziz, Governor of Bank Negara Malaysia. In 2010, she visited King's College London for personal development.

Career

Social work

Lim has been involved in charity work for the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) and the Society of Hope in Kota Kinabalu.

Political career

Lim joined the PKR (People's Justice Party) in 2008, as a youth committee member in the Petaling Jaya branch. She was actively involved in political and Bersih rally activities.
