Jenuse Mohamed is an Indian film director and screenwriter who works in Malayalam cinema. The son of director Kamal, Jenuse learnt filmmaking at London Film School and has worked as an assistant director under Aashiq Abu, Lal Jose and Kamal in Malayalam films. He made his directorial debut in 2015 with 100 Days of Love.

Career[edit]

Jenuse obtained his graduation from GRD College, Coimbatore and learnt filmmaking at London Film School, and also obtained an MBA from United Kingdom.[1] He assisted Aashiq Abu in 22 Female Kottayam, Lal Jose in Ayalum Njanum Thammil and his father in Celluloid and Nadan.[1][2] He made his directorial debut with the 2015 romantic comedy 100 Days of Love featuring Dulquer Salmaan and Nithya Menen in the lead roles.[3] In 2018, it was announced that he would be directing a science-fiction film titled 9, starring and produced by Prithviraj Sukumaran and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing for the first time in Malayalam cinema.[4]
