Jersey Calling are a five-piece pop-punk band from South Jersey, formed in 2002.[1] The group consists of vocalist/guitarist Josh Kates, vocalist/tambourinist Victoria Maffei-Kates, bassist/vocalist Randy Ballinger, guitarist/vocalist Sean Breslin, and drummer John Vouras. The band was originally founded by Josh, Sean, Randy, and Phil Seshens, their old drummer.

Jersey Calling was originally formed in 2002, and they released two albums before taking a hiatus in 2005. They later reunited in 2020 with new members, releasing their album "Punk Rock Retirement".[2] In 2021, they re-released their first two albums as a double album titled "Daddy Re-Issues". In 2023, they teased their new album by releasing the single "Gods & Cowboys". They released their most recent album, "Parasocial Security", on October 27, 2023.[3]

Band sound and influences

The band took influences from Green Day, Alkaline Trio, Less Than Jake, Rancid, The Clash, The Ramones—old school punk rock, and new melodic pop punk riffs.[1]
