Jessica "Jess" Furness is a British digital content producer, presenter, and ultramarathon runner. She is known for her role as a presenter and Campaigns Manager for the YouTube channel and media company The Running Channel and for her running challenges.[1]
Career
Furness began her career in digital media and joined The Running Channel in 2018. Her official role is Presenter and Campaigns Manager, and she is a key contributor to the channel's video and social media content.[2] She is also a writer for the company's website, where she shares her running journey and experiences.[3]
Running
Furness is an accomplished runner who has documented her journey from a casual runner to a seasoned marathon and ultramarathon competitor. She has a marathon personal best of 3:00:10, which she achieved at the 2023 London Marathon.[4]
She has also completed numerous challenging events, including a five-day multi-stage ultramarathon across Sri Lanka.[5] She was the first woman to finish the Ultra X Sri Lanka 2022 race with a total time of 20:47:24.[6]
