The Jessberger Award is named after Elmar Jessberger. It is awarded every other year by the Meteoritical Society and recognizes outstanding research by a mid-career, female isotope geochemist.[1]
The 2021 inaugural winner is Maria Schönbächler for her contributions to geochronology and the understanding of nucleosynthetic anomalies in elements.[2]
