Jesse Porter, is a fictional character in the television series Burn Notice, and is played by Coby Bell.[1] He is a former counter-intelligence agent for the Department of Defense.[2]

Jesse Porter is a former Counterintelligence Field Activity/Defense Intelligence Agency agent introduced in the season four premiere. Michael accidentally burns Jesse, but later forgives him and becomes a member of the team because he wants to do what is right. Jesse has expertise in private security and counterintelligence. In the series finale, Madeline sacrifices herself using a C4 when people are attempting to kill them, allowing Jesse to escape with Charlie, Nate’s son.[3][4]

Production[edit]

Coby Bell was cast as Jesse Porter and made his first appearance during the season four premiere. From then on, Jesse was in virtually every subsequent episode. After the series finale there were rumors of him being in his own spinoff show with Sam Axe.[5][6][7]
