Jesse Aubrey Stamps (born July 9, 1967) is an American entrepreneur, artist and producer. Before his foray into the music industry, he ran a tech/aviation media startup The Aviation Station in the Southwest. It featured streaming news, economic data, music channels, and a flight booking engine. Later, he released his debut album, Edge of Greatness(album), in Spring 2020. He started the label Saint Louis and Broadway Music to accompany his future releases.
Early life
Stamps was born in Pulaski County, Missouri. His father, Eugene Stamps, was a night hotel manager, as well as a WWII veteran. His mother, Clara Stamps (née Fitts) was a homemaker and part-time cosmetics saleswoman from their home. He grew up in Lebanon, Missouri, attended and graduated from the local school. He took part in the school's wrestling team during the years he attended. Later he enlisted in the military and spent time on a tour in Europe as a helicopter crew engineer. In 1989 he attended Queens College, where he studied Writing and Linguistics, but later dropped out seeing little success in his time there.
Music career
Fast forward to 2020, he discovered a way to produce music in a modern way. Since he liked EDM (genre) music, he decided to make it his genre. Although his influences were 80's pop, dance, and rap music, he reverted to his time in Europe where the genre was similar to what he remembered. His debut album Edge of Greatness was launched under his label Saint Louis and Broadway Music. He soon followed up with a sophomore album, Moves You Make on the same label. He went on to a series of EDM (genre), and Pop music albums and a few EPs. He received an article write-up from Radio Airplay's own DJ Downlow Davis' music promo site and was featured as "Artist of The Day," for his release of Density Flow, on September 19th, 2021, among other indie artists. His songs appeared several times via Release Radar on Spotify as new music Friday releases. He cites his family background for his interest in music, as his mother was their local church pianist and his father kept a hi-fidelity reel-to-reel stereo in their home while playing what would today be called R & B classics.
