Jessica Caroline Hoare (born 19 June 1999), known professionally as Jessica Alexander, is an English actress and model. She gained prominence through her roles in the Disney Channel Italian series Penny on M.A.R.S. and the BBC iPlayer series Get Even. She starred in the films Glasshouse and A Banquet.
Early life
Alexander grew up in Richmond and has a younger sister, Sophie. She attended Putney High School and graduated in 2017.[1][2]
Career
Alexander first auditioned for a film at 14 years old. She starred in two independent short films, Venice 70: Future Reloaded (2013) and Truck (2016) before making her television debut in the 2018 Italian Disney Channel teen dramedy Penny on M.A.R.S. as the antagonist, Lucy Carpenter. That same year, she was scouted by Select Model Management.[3] In 2020, she gained recognition for her role as Olivia Hayes in the iPlayer teen thriller series Get Even.[4][5]
In 2021, Alexander starred as Bee in the South African dystopian thriller Glasshouse, directed by Kelsey Egan whom Alexander had met through a previous project, and Betsey in the British horror film A Banquet.[6][7]
In March 2021, it was announced Alexander would be joining the cast of the upcoming live-action film adaptation of The Little Mermaid.[8] She is also set to appear in the thriller film Into the Deep.[9]

Alexander identifies as bisexual.[10][better source needed]
