Jessica Sara is an American actress. She is best known for her role as Sophie in 2000 film How the Grinch Stole Christmas.
Career[edit]
Sara's career began in 1996 with an appearance in an episode of Sesame Street. In 1998, she appeared in Party of Five, and in ER in 1999. After appearances in the films The Next Best Thing, Gepetto, and The Amati Girls, Sara appeared as Sophie in the film adaptation of How the Grinch Stole Christmas.[1]
She continued with guest appearances in The Drew Carey Show and Touched by an Angel, before co-starring in Always Greener and in Thank Heaven (2004). She also guest starred in the television series Becker, Unfabulous, and Just for Kicks, as well as appearing in the film Winter Break (2003).[1]
In 2002, she made three appearances as Melissa on the sitcom My Wife and Kids, winning a Young Artist Award for "Best Young Actress Guest Star (Ten or Under) - Television Comedy or Drama Series".[2]
