Juliette Angelo is an American actress, singer, and songwriter based in Los Angeles. Angelo is best known for her role in ABC sitcom Malibu Country.[1] with Reba McEntire, Lily Tomlin, and Sara Rue, created by David A. Stewart. Angelo made her Broadway debut at the age of 8 in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.[2] Then, also on Broadway, she appeared in the plays Billy Elliot and Mary Poppins.[2]

She is also known for her portrayal as Emily Fornell on NCIS,[3] and Geneva on Shameless.[4] and Geneva on Shameless with Cameron Monaghan.

Early Life[edit]

Juliette Rose Angelo was born on March 3, 1999. [5] She grew up in Little Falls, New Jersey.[6]. Angelo is of Italian descent and comes from a large family, but she is an only child. Juliette began homeschooling at the age of nine, and graduated from high school at the age of fifteen. In her earliest years, Juliette was an award winning tap dancer. Her love of animals, specifically horses, led her to begin English riding lessons at the age of six.

Career[edit]

Juliette grew up in the NYC area and started her career on Broadway debut at the age of 8 in How the Grinch Stole Christmas.[2] Then, also on Broadway, she appeared in the plays Billy Elliot and Mary Poppins.[2]

In 2012, Angelo was cast in ABC sitcom Malibu Country.[7] with Reba McEntire, Lily Tomlin, and Sara Rue, created by David A. Stewart. In the series, McEntire played singer Reba MacKenzie who uprooted her family and transplanted it to Malibu after her country music star husband was caught cheating on her. While in sunny So Cal, she attempted to resurrect her own career, all the while raising two teenagers who were facing a different type of peer pressure due to living in the region. Angelo’s other television credits include arcs on Mad Men, 11.22.63, Grey’s Anatomy, The Haunted Hathaways, Speechless, NCIS with Mark Harmon, and Shameless opposite with Cameron Monaghan.
