"Jesus Christ" (released as "Jesus" as a single) is a song by alternative rock band Brand New. It is the second single from their 2006 album The Devil and God Are Raging Inside Me. The song impacted radio on March 27, 2007.[1] The single was released on 7" vinyl and CD in the United Kingdom on April 30, 2007. In the United States, the single reached number 30 on the Billboard Hot Modern Rock Tracks chart on May 26, 2007.[2]

A music video was directed by Moh Azima, but was never released. It first surfaced on the internet in late 2009, but was quickly taken down at the request of Interscope and Brand New.[3][4] The song is among the band's most successful; as of April 2023, the song has amassed their most streams on Spotify with over 62 million plays,[non-primary source needed] and the song became the band's first to receive gold certification from RIAA on October 11, 2022.[5]
