Jeyla Uran (Azerbaijani: Seyidova Ceyla Uran qızı, born 1995, Baku) is an Azerbaijani violinist, soloist. Merited Artist[1][2][3][4][5]
Biography[edit]
Jayla was born into a family of musicians: father Uran Seyidov is a People's Artist of Azerbaijan, concertmaster of the State Chamber Orchestra. Mom Samira Ashumova - Honored Artist of Azerbaijan, professor. Brother Anar Seyidov is a presidential scholarship holder and a graduate of the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory. Teacher Fatima Idiatullina.[6][7]
Also, Jayla Seyidova was the first Azerbaijani student of Eduard Davidovich Grach.[7]
Ceyla has been making music since the age of 6, touring, participating in significant cultural events such as the Days of Azerbaijan in the USA, the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Germany, France, Italy, Sweden, Switzerland, Belgium, etc. In 2004 she became the winner of the 1st festival of young performers dedicated to Kovkab Safaraliyeva.
Graduated with honors from the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in 2017.
Since 2016, she has been working at the State Academic Azerbaijan Philharmonic Society in the position of "First Violin in the State Quartet"[8]
Achievements[edit]
Jayla Seyidova won a number of creative victories at international competitions:
First place at the International Festival dedicated to the "International Children's Day", held in Tbilisi in June 2005.
First place at the I International Music Competition, held in Fasano, Italy, "Bravo" in 2008.[9]
Laureate of the VII Spivakov International Music Festival in 2010.
First place at the IV International Music Competition, held in Namur, Belgium in 2012.
First place at the VII International Music Competition in Rhodes, Greece. Competitions in Athens, Greece in 2014.
In 2007, she was awarded a special monthly scholarship of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan and her name was included in the Golden Book of Young Talents of Azerbaijan.
For achievements in 2013, she was awarded a special award by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
In 2016, she became the owner of the Grand Prix at the international competition named after S.S. Prokofiev.[10]
He is a laureate of the 7th International Festival "Moscow Meets Friends", as well as international festivals named after Spivakov, Rostropovich and Yuri Bashmet.
In 2018, she took part in the tour of the Youth Chamber Orchestra around the countries of the Balkan Peninsula.
On September 15, 2018, she performed at a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the People's Republic of Azerbaijan and the 100th anniversary of the liberation of Baku from the Bolshevik-Dashnak occupation, with the participation of the Presidential Symphony Orchestra of Turkey under the direction of conductor Yalchin Adigezalov and People's Artist of Ankara, Turkey.
On October 21, 2018, she performed at an event dedicated to Azerbaijan in the Tsaritsyno Museum and Preserve Complex in Moscow entitled “From Art to Diplomacy”.
On December 18, 2018, she performed at the Azerbaijani-Chinese friendship concert in Beijing organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and the People's Republic of China.
In 2019, Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva met with a group of cultural and artistic figures, and Ceyla was one of the members of this group.
On May 28, 2019, she took part in a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Azerbaijani diplomacy in Tbilisi.
In 2019, in Sheki, she became the winner of the X Silk Road International Music Festival and took part in the Gebala International Music Festival.
On November 23, she took part in a concert at the opening of the Azerbaijani pavilion at the Exhibition of Economic Achievements in Moscow.[11]
2020 - gave a concert in front of the House of Culture of the liberated city of Fizuli in November.
2021 - took part in the nightingale festival in Shusha.
2021 - Ceyla Seyidova was awarded the title of Honored Artist.
2022 - received a personal award from the President of Azerbaijan

2013 - Awarded by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the occasion of Azerbaijan Day on February 2 for successful activities.
2014 - Republican Committee of the Free Trade Union of Education Workers of Azerbaijan. Honorary award.
Student of the Baku Musical Academy for successful results at the international level.
2012 and 2017 - Organization of Turkish Culture "Turksoy" - Certificate of Contribution.
2019 - Awarded with an honorary diploma of the Confederation of Cooperative Unions of Azerbaijan for special achievements in labor, educational and social activities - with the award of the honorary title "Peshakar Ganja".
Jayla's name is included in the "Golden Book" of young talents 2015-2017.[12]
She is a scholarship holder of the State Education Program
2021 Honored Artist of Azerbaijan
2022 received a personal award from the President of Azerbaijan.
2022 was awarded the first prize at the International Competition Nouvelles Etoiles.[13]
2022 was awarded the first prize at the International Competition Golden Time Talent.[14]
