Jian-Hua Zhuang
Jian-Hua Zhuang[Chinese script needed] (born 1959) is a Chinese-born composer active in the Netherlands.
Zhuang received a Bachelor of Music degree from the Sichuan Conservatory of Music in 1988. Later, he moved to the Netherlands, completing a master's degree, also in music, at the Rotterdam Conservatory of Music in 1996. Among his teachers were Hsung Hu Wei, Fan Nai Xin, and Klaas de Vries. Zhuang has won prizes in the China Composition Competition (1989, the Taiwan International Composition Competition, and the China Nation Musical Contest; his music has been published and performed in the Netherlands, China, Poland, and Australia.
