Jimmy Burney, also known as J. Burney, is a Grammy and Juno nominated songwriter, vocal producer, and performer active in Los Angeles.
Career[edit]
Jimmy began singing and writing music at a young age. His parents recognized his talent and encouraged him to pursue a path in the performing arts.
Burney has worked with many names in the music industry including Diane Warren, David Foster, Steve Kipner, and Rodney Jerkins. As a vocalist he has recorded with Ray Charles, Michael Bolton, Jackson Browne, Ruben Studdard and Josh Groban, and performed with Mary J Blige and Queen Latifah[1]. His vocal performances have been featured in the Rock Of Ages, "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," Behind The Candlelabra and "Glee."
As a songwriter, Burney has collaborated with Big Time Rush, Super Junior, Charlie Wilson, Shinee, W-inds, Girls' Generation-TTS, B1A4, Cody Simpson, Backstreet Boys, and Leon Thomas.[2][3]
