Jimmy Sharma is an Indian model and actor. He has done modelling from 2003 – 2010 and films and television projects from 2010 onwards. Jimmy has done approximately 450 Punjabi music videos & 9 Indian regional films industries viz. Hindi, Punjabi, as well as Bollywood till date.
Early life
Jimmy was born on 18 December 1985 to Mohan Sharma and Sushma Sharma in Jalandhar, Punjab. He belongs to a Punjabi Hindu family. Despite his humble background, Jimmy spent his early years in his hometown Ludhiana and completed his graduation from Punjabi University. He says he had dreamed of becoming a model since his school days in Punjab, as his friends thought Jimmy had the physique to be one.
Career
After appearing in around 450 Punjabi music videos, he got a cameo in Shahid Kapoor’s movie *Chance Pe Dance*, and then he bagged Marjawan Gurh Khake, his debut in Punjabi cinema. After that, he got appreciation for his role in Rahe Chardi Kala Punjab Di. And he won a most prominent actor award for his performance in Oye Hoye Pyar Ho Gaya. He also starred as a main lead in the action-based Punjabi movie *25 Kille*. His Bollywood projects are Raktdhar and Ek Kahani Julie Ki.
