Jinsoul
Jung Jin-sol (Korean: 정진솔; born June 13, 1997), known professionally as JinSoul, is a South Korean singer and rapper. She is a member of the Loona, its sub-unit Odd Eye Circle, and Artms.
Early Life
Jinsoul was born in Seoul and raised in Dongdaemun District.[citation needed]. She has an older brother named Jeong Jinwoo, born in 1994.[citation needed] She attended Hyosung Women's University, majoring in practical music.[citation needed]
Career
2017–2023: Debut with Loona
JinSoul was introduced as the seventh member of Loona in June 2017. She released her solo single album, "JinSoul," featuring the title track "Singing in the Rain".[citation needed]
In September 2017, JinSoul debuted as part of Loona's sub-unit, Odd Eye Circle, alongside Loona members Kim Lip and Choerry. The trio released the extended play "Mix & Match," followed by a repackaged version titled "Max & Match" in October 2017.[citation needed]
LOONA made its official debut as a full group in August 2018 with the EP "[+ +]."[citation needed]
2023–Present: ARTMS and MODHAUS
In January 2023, JinSoul won a legal battle to terminate her contract with BlockBerry Creative. Subsequently, in March 2023, she signed an exclusive contract with MODHAUS and became a member of the girl group ARTMS.[citation needed]
