Jinu Ben (born 15 October 1983), also known as Kullan for his notable role in the anthology film Kullante Bharya of 5 Sundarikal, is also a Dubbing Artist, former radio jockey at Radio Mango,[1] former Digital Head at Red FM 93.5 and Suryan FM 93.5, former Sound Engineer at Hello FM and former Assistant Director of Rasiga Raja No.1 a show that was aired in Surya TV.
Early life[edit]
Ben was born on 15 October 1983 at a Nedumkunnam in Kottayam district. He completed his Pre-Degree at Marthoma College, Chungathara and then BCA at Mar Augusthinose College, Ramapuram, Kottayam and continued to do his second graduation BSc. Electronic Media at Hindustan College of Arts & Science, Padur, Chennai, securing Madras University First Rank. During his studies, Jinu Ben also represented team India for the prestigious SAUFEST (South Asian Universities Youth Festival) conducted at Jammu & Kashmir in the year 2006.
Career[edit]
Jinu Ben started his career in 2007 as an assistant director for the reality show Rasiga Raja No.1 telecasted in Surya TV. By the end of the year, he joined Hello FM as Sonic Producer. Later he worked as a radio jockey at Radio Mango with a show titled City Lights, which aired from 7 to 10 p.m. weekdays. He began dubbing for Malayalam movies when he left the job at Radio Mango and joined Red FM 93.5 at Cochin. He was also seen portraying the character of 'Kullan' in the anthology film Kullante Bharya from 5 Sundarikal. Jinu Ben was not seen in any other mainstream movies afterward and is currently working with Facebook as Strategic Partner Manager.[citation needed]
